Aguettant offer a range of sterile, pyrogen free solutions in pvc bags. Our bags are compatible with standard UK giving sets. The 3 litre bags have a single chlorobutyl puncture (“minitulip”) outlet; other sizes have both a puncture (“minitulip”) outlet and an injection site. The bags carry graduation marks to show the volume of solution remaining during use. Bags are sterilized in their secondary packaging. A pre-cut site is provided to make the bag easy to open. We also produce sterile solutions for irrigation in sodium chloride 0.9% and water. Both in 500ml and 1 litre plastic screw top bottles. Our sterile sodium chloride 0.9% solution on 100ml and 45ml twist off top pods is a cost effective alternative to 25ml sachets |
Aguettant
Aguettant is well known for sterile generic products – We are leaders in the production of anaesthesia and intensive care products. Aguettant has the flexibility and reactivity critical to seize the opportunities for alliances, partnerships and licensing of our patents and technologies.
Aguettant recognised that nested Prefillable syringes and the associated manufacturing equipment for filling still remain cost prohibitive for the most inexpensive emergency and critical care drugs Aguettant identified that lowering the cost of production of this valuable presentation was essential for this range of products. Aguettant has developed and patented a terminally steam sterilised pre fillable syringe in a peelable blister pack that can be filled bulkwise. The patent improves the stopper sterilisation efficiency and ensures a simple secure opening system moulded in one with the barrel of the syringe.
Aguettant has also patented a 2 chamber flexible bag that delivers a flush of diluent immediately following the flow of an active compound from the main chamber. This is particularly helpful for home delivery of cytotoxic products. Aguettant has substantial experience in the manufacture of generic products in polypropylene ampoules. Whilst electrolytes and solvents are the mainstay – active pharmaceutical molecules in this presentation are also being developed.
