The Aguettant pre-filled syringe is latex free and made from polypropylene making it lightweight and strong.
The syringe is ready to use and the luer lock connection enables direct attachment to needle free devices.
Whilst in the sealed blister the external surface of the Aguettant pre-filled syringe is sterile.

The Aguettant pre-filled syringe meets the recommendations of the NPSA promoting safer use of injectable medicines.

Labelling

We recognise there is a great deal of confusion over the labelling of this product and whether the strength should be described as the tartrate or as base. The consensus view was our labelling should reflect the base. In the process of licensing the regulatory authority confirmed this view by requiring us to express the strength as the base.
